TOTORRO is a unique group, difficult to categorize. Some define their math-rock music to express a certain complexity in the structure of the songs, but these live rather as told stories. No singer: in this instrumental music we observe the two guitarists, bassist and drummer. Everything fits perfectly, the four friends spent hours together and feel. Their complex music turns on stage into contagious energy. He is dragged by this playful and galvanizing moment. TOTORRO released two albums, Home Alone in 2014 and Come To Mexico in 2016, and held more than 300 concerts from Canada to Japan. After a more than deserved break, six years anyway, Totorro returned to business in 2025 with a new album. Totorro tells stories without words. Four guys in battle for an instrumental and narrative math-rock that takes us for a walk, shakes us, from break to riff, without ever leaving our hands. After Home Alone, their first iconic album of the genre, and then Come To Mexico, even more powerful, Totorro prepares the sequel to the story and we look forward to learning its chapters by heart. With an overflowing energy and a sharp sense of melody, Totorro projects the math-rock into a euphoric dimension. Acrobatic guitars, swirling rhythms and instrumental sparks form a powerful and luminous sound at the same time.
